Historic Richmond VA – 1×3 Duplex Home 2a
This is the wood clapboard siding version of the RVA duplex 02b.
Model is inspired by a 1908 duplex built by James H. Goddin at 318 N 32nd St in Richmond VA. The queen anne style structure is a contributing structure to the Oakwood-Chimborazo historic district. I designed windows more befitting of the queen anne style. I have preset four color variations for the wood clapboard siding and it is paintable in-game with mods.
Many urban early 20th century american neighborhoods have a mix of housing types and including duplex homes in your recreations will add to realism.
This building should go well in a New England, Mid Atlantic or Rust Belt based city, as well as many other North American cities. There will be additional set of compatible Historic RVA homes forthcoming in the next few weeks.

The Historic RVA collection attempts to recreate homes of the style constructed in Richmond VA in the period of 1880s-1930. I will continue to grow this collection over time with special focus on the areas of Church Hiill/Chimborazo, The Fan District and the mansions and grand apartments on Monument Ave.
Detailers should enjoy this collection as I will reskin many of the models to offer different variations like you would find in real-life neighborhoods. Could be as simple as brick vs siding or fancy windows versus basic windows. I will do my best to keep the poly counts down and share textures among different models but If you’re playing on a potato then when the collection becomes large you may be best to just pick your favorites from the group rather than download all variations.
