Hauptkirche st Michaelis (St. Michael’s Church), built from 1647 to 1669, destroyed and rebuilt three times is the largest church of Hamburg. It is one of the five main protestant churches of the city and one of the most famous baroque church. The 132m tall spire makes it the third tallest church in Hamburg and an important landmark of the city.
