Plaza Tower, Tyler Texas
Formerly known as Bank of America Tower
Plaza Tower, located at 110 N. College Ave. in downtown Tyler, is the tallest building in Northeast Texas. At 19 stories tall and with a design comparable to Chicago’s famed Sears Tower (Willis Tower), it offers class "A" office space and breathtaking views of East Texas. In 2020 the tower was renovated and now features mixed uses and retail amenities on the ground floor, including Tyler’s Visitor Center, Andy’s Frozen Custard, 1948 Coffee & Juice, and True Vine Brewing Company. The Plaza Tower features black tinted windows and is often referred to as the "Bank of America Building" (despite the tenant’s departure years ago) or simply just known as "the black building."
