Henry the Green Engine A1

The iconic steam train basis for Henry – inspired by the Thomas the Tank Engine series.

The original Henry the Green Engine was based on one of the early rejected designs for Gresley’s Great Northern Railway (GNR) A1 class 4-6-2, of which Gordon would later become the prototype. Following the Flying Kipper incident, Henry was rebuilt as a London, Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS) Stanier 5MT "Black Five" 4-6-0. After "The Eight Famous Engines", Henry’s Stanier tender was replaced by a standard Fowler tender.

This version of Henry includes two trains – one cargo and one passenger.

Cargo:
• Henry’s Coal Tender + 8 Troublesome Trucks

  Passenger:

• Henry’s Coal Tender + 4 Express Coaches + 1 Express Brake Coach

Features a smokebox door instead of an anthropomorphic face – so there’s a bit more realism added to your game! Top speed of 70 mph (112 kph).

I also added OPTIONAL steam effects, train sounds, and Henry’s whistle – requires Acc3ss Violation’s Vehicle Effects mod.

Once subscribed, you will find the cargo train version randomly added to all cargo trains in base game – even the ones that go outside the map. However, I would highly recommend using Acc3ss Violation’s Random Train Trailers mod to customize the train line.

Once subscribed, the passenger train version will be available to select In the Public Transit Lines Overview or by clicking on a train station.

I would also suggest using Tim’s Advanced Vehicle Options to modify spawning.
