Force Majeure

A tropical island paradise in the southern parts of the Japanese archipelago. Sitting right above the Ring of Fire means these islands get more tectonic activity than almost any other place on earth. Earthquakes are a part of the day to day life for the inhabitants but recently the frequency and magnitude has picked up dramatically. This has awoken powers previously hidden beneath the waves. The local government has decided the island need a way to quickly bring in aid and evacuate citizens by air if the worst case scenario plays out but to sustain an airport the population will have to be significantly larger. Uncertain and dangerous times face the islanders. Will you help them pass the trials of Mother Nature?

Natural Disasters DLC, Mass Transit DLC, and Pearls from the East free DLC are required to play this scenario. No other DLCs, content creator packs, mods, or assets are neccecary.

This is the second scenario of mine and the first one thats based on natural disasters. I have tried to incoorperate all the experiences and the feedback from my previous scenario Boomtown Africa into Fore Majeure but balancing the difficulty is already hard enough without the disasters so inexperienced players may still have a hard time. I’ve asked the master player and sailor Xucaboa for help. If you’re struggling to beat the scenario maybe this video of his can help you stay afloat?

If you somehow think this scenario is too easy then NIGHTMARE MODE is for you. I literally don’t even know if this version is possible to beat but with some pro-cheese-gamer-moves I’m sure somebody will figure out a way.. This is definitively a HARDCORE challenge and even just attempting it will win you my respect.
