Nursing Homes with Eldercare Pack

Nursing Homes provide communities for seniors to retire with dignity (or not) and receive proper eldercare.

A set of level 1-5 Nursing Home assets adjusted to include both Nursing Home and Eldercare stats for the updated mod, along with consistent names, descriptions, thumbnails and UI priority to give a polished design across the entire pack.

The new Nursing Homes with Eldercare mod is backwards compatible with previous Nursing Home mod assets, but it applies a standard Eldercare stat to them. This set provides varying levels of the Eldercare Accumulation stat for levels 1-5 in addition to Nursing Home rooms/radius. This pack will therefore not work with the old mod, only the new one.

Nursing Home Assets will show up in the Healthcare menu, unless you’re using the new Better HealthCare Toolbar in which case they’ll be in the Eldercare tab. No more buggy Health Care menu like in the original mod.

Note: The 2 star quality buildings are specifically called Nursing Homes just for flavor, the entire set uses the same NursingHomeAI that provides both Senior Living Rooms and Eldercare services.

Hospice Care is meant for the poor or deathly infirm at the very end of their lives.

Assisted Living Community is designed to replace the vanilla Eldercare building entirely since the model is more suited as a Nursing Home than an Eldercare facility that seniors visit; to skip the prefab on load using Loading Screen Mod, add this line to your skip file:

If skipping the vanilla prefab, you will still need other options for Eldercare-only services to attend to your independent seniors who still live on their own. The Eldercare Block is a good option for giving Eldercare to any building or hospital. A Palliative Care option is in the works, and hopefully Eldercare could also optionally be baked into HospitalAI through modding (no promises).

All credit to the original asset creators, donations should be made to them if you like their models. I hope I’m not stepping on any toes by releasing these alterations, but if so, please let me know and I’ll figure out an alternative. Just trying to bring some extra flavor and harmony to the workshop.
