Coimbra, Portugal
Map of the region of Coimbra, Portugal
For those unfamiliar with my hometown, the map consists of a main river that goes through the center of the map, Mondego, with two tributaries, Ceira and Dueça. The land adjacent to the river stream is extremely fertile and there’s some ore on its hills and mountains. The placement of the roads (their type not so much) is quite close to what you would expect to see in real life, but the limitations of the editor led me to be a bit creative when placing them. The same applies to the train tracks. No oil nor ship paths are present in this map as none of those would make much sense, but I may add them if demand is high enough. There’s also exactly 200,000 trees planted, giving you a buffer of 50,000 if you wish to plant some more.
I hope you have as much fun building on this map as I had making it! In case you have some suggestions on how I might improve it, please leave a comment below. 🙂
