This is one of the Municipalities part of the Oporto Metropolitan Area (Área Metropolitana do Porto – AMP)
Contains one Motorway connection, one Railway connection and one Airway connection. These are not mapped to real life connections, but are as close as possible.
The terrain is pretty bumpy so… yeah, the actual place used to be like this like… a few decades ago.
Located at 17km from Oporto, Valongo is an area famous for its bread and slate, placed down in a valley and towards the Souza Valley. Gold mining was done during the Roman period, in the Santa Justa Mountain.
The map covers the are of Valongo, São Martinho do Campo, Sobrado and Couce, and partial parts of Ermesinde and Alfena.
