Changchun Railway Station South Building
Changchun Station, located in Kuancheng District, Changchun City, Jilin Province, China, is a special-class station under the jurisdiction of China Railway Shenyang Bureau Group Co., Ltd. and an important transportation hub in Jilin Province.
On November 3, 1907, Changchun Station started freight. On December 1st of the same year, Changchun Station started passenger traffic. On December 28, 1993, the second-generation station building of Changchun Station was completed and put into use. On November 25, 2013, Changchun Station realized the full connection of the north-south station buildings.
As of July 2020, Changchun Station has 9 stations and 16 lines. The total construction area of the South Station is 50,162 square meters, and the total construction area of the North Station is 50,532 square meters. In 2020, the carrying capacity of Changchun Station will send 17.5 million passengers annually.
