Hello Folks,

today’s upload is a pack of three high school buildings from Leipzig. Included are two 720 student versions and one 360 student version, built in 1968.
For the more recent versions of these schools, refer to this upload.
Highlight of these buidlings are the large murals/artworks above the main entrances, which are randomly added when placing the building.
Each buildings can either spawn blank, or with one of four different murals.

When renaming the building, a basement floor appears which can be detailed, using blank surface networks
and Vanilla Steps Final to cover up the excess clipping.
Detailing the basement levels is recommended for advanced players/detailers. If you don’t rename the building, you retain the easier ploppable version.

This building type originated in Leipzig and was built all around the former district Leipzig.
The "1POS" or "POS" part of the name indicates the number of classes per individual grade, so either one or two full 30-student classes per grade 8, 9, 10 and so on.

The 3 included buildings have been named by a system I hope is at least somewhat understandable.
"LPZ" is short for Leipzig, the city/district these buildings have been planned and built in.
"#POS" stands for "Polytechnische Oberschule" (polytechnic secondary school).
"1968" indicates that these are the early versions, created in 1968.
The "No.#" stands for each version of the building.

The buildings can be found under their names, starting with "LPZ 1POS 1968", "LPZ 2POS 1968" or alternatively by searching for "Plattenbau".
All these buildings work as high schools in-game. For elementary schools, refer to my "kindergarten"-assets.
The stats are the same as the vanilla elementary, except they are either multiplied by 0.36 or 0.72.
The pillars between the windows, as well as the railings and awning pillars are color-mapped, 4 colors included.

Here’s a list of all the HEX-colors used:

  • red: 80404B
  • blue: 3F6F8B
  • green: 2C4B3C
  • white: FFFFFF

The buildings are either on a 8×4 or 11×4 plot, no sides of the bulding are flush with the plot grid.
The main texture files are shared, so using the Loading Screen Mod to tremendiously cut down on file size is advised.
The textures are also shared with my POS 1973 and clinic.
