Small (2u) 4-Lane Rd with Bike lane, Trees
The Holy Grail for space-minded builders like me – Small, 2U road with four lanes of traffic, plus one bi-directional bike lane, plus a side of trees! This is what I use for my collector roads – it’s got throughput, it supports green bike use, has transit stops on either side, and offers noise pollution reduction while land value increases with the trees! Plus, of course, it looks pretty.
You’ll just want to be intentional about which way you lay the road – you can’t just right-click upgrade to swap the tree/bike side, you have to bulldoze and re-lay the road in the correct direction. Generally, you want your buses to be making right turns only, and preferably not into the bike lane (although the option is there).
If you lay the road from bottom to top, the trees will be on your right, the bike on the left. Left to right, the trees are on the bottom, bike on the top.
