Atolon de Delfines
Atolon de Delfines is the latest in my series of ‘Tropico in Cities Skylines’ island maps, this one an atoll inspired by the beautiful Bora Bora in French Polynesia. With three road & rail connections, four ship & plane connections, an abundance of resources, and overflowing with natural beauty, this map has everything you need to start your new island paradise.
Atolon de Dolfines is a highly detailed map with loads to discover. All three road & rail connections are hidden behind rocks at their outermost points, these will function perfectly as long as they are not deleted! There is also a good balance between flat buildable land close to sea level on the outer islands, gentle sloping foothills, and spectacular mountain plateaus.
I have endeavoured to use primarily vanilla assets, however some custom flora assets have been included to invoke the feeling of the rainforests in the south Pacific. These additional flora assets are entirely optional, I have used enough vanilla assets in the forests to still make them feel full & varied even without the custom assets. I have also utilised an optional custom theme created for my subtropical maps. These, along with my other subtropical maps, can be found in the collections linked above.
I have also set out to make this map as playable as possible without mods, however the 81 tiles 2 mod could potentially be useful, as not all of the islands in the atoll fit within the 25 tiles.
