Siemens S700 LRV METRO
The Siemens S700 is a light rail vehicle (LRV) made for the North American market. The S700 is a rebranding of newer versions of the S70 models. The main difference is a redesigned middle section to allow for longitudinal seating and more standing room. Features still include a low-floor design, 2 control cabs, 4 doors each side, and 60 seats and standing room to allow for about 230 total passengers. The Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County (METRO) acquired 14 S700s in 2022 to supplement the existing S70 and CAF fleet for the 3 line system in Houston, Texas. They are designated as the H4 series.
Color variation is only in the destination board. Strobe lights flash on the ends of the train with the Vehicle Effects mod.
