Mazda CX-50

CX-50（シーエックス・フィフティ）は、マツダが製造・販売するクロスオーバーSUV型の乗用車である。

2021年11月16日、北米向けクロスオーバーSUVとして発表された。マツダとトヨタの合弁工場であるマツダ・トヨタ・マニュファクチャリング・U.S.A.（アメリカ・アラバマ州）で生産される初のマツダ車である。2022年1月18日に量産が開始された。

アメリカでの要望を主に取り入れ、アウトドアやオフロードでの機能を重視して開発された。

マツダの最新の魂動デザインを導入し、新たなスタイリング表現を生み出すことを目指した。
滑らかな長いシルエットとワイドなスタンスを備えており、ダイナミックなプロポーションとした。
ターボモデルには、専用エンブレム、大径テールパイプ、LEDテールライト、LEDオートレベリングヘッドライトを備えたアダプティブLEDフロントライトシステムが装備される。

CX-50では、ドライバーがオンロードとオフロードで自信を持って走行できるように、マツダらしい自然な走行フィールを強化した。

米国発売時には、2.5リットル直列4気筒ガソリン自然吸気エンジンの「SKYACTIV-G 2.5」と、2.5リットル直列4気筒ガソリンターボエンジン「SKYACTIV-G 2.5T」エンジンの2種類が用意される。今回、発表されたスペックによると、自然吸気のSKYACTIV-G 2.5は、最大出力187hp、最大トルク25.7kgmを発生する。ターボのSKYACTIV-G 2.5Tは、最大出力256hp、最大トルク44.3kgmを引き出す。両エンジンともに、トランスミッションは6速ATを組み合わせた。ターボモデルには、パドルシフトが付く。

CX-50 (CX-Fifty) is a crossover SUV type passenger car manufactured and sold by Mazda.

On November 16, 2021, it was announced as a crossover SUV for North America. This is the first Mazda vehicle to be produced at Mazda Toyota Manufacturing U.S.A. (Alabama, USA), a joint venture plant between Mazda and Toyota. Mass production started on January 18, 2022.

It was developed with an emphasis on outdoor and off-road functions, mainly incorporating requests in the United States.

We aimed to create a new styling expression by introducing Mazda’s latest KODO design.
It has a long, sleek silhouette and wide stance with dynamic proportions.
Turbo models are equipped with an adaptive LED front lighting system with a dedicated emblem, large tailpipes, LED taillights and LED auto-leveling headlights.

The CX-50 has enhanced Mazda’s natural driving feel so that the driver can drive with confidence on and off-road.

When it goes on sale in the United States, two types will be available: the 2.5-liter in-line 4-cylinder naturally aspirated gasoline engine "SKYACTIV-G 2.5" and the 2.5-liter in-line 4-cylinder gasoline turbo engine "SKYACTIV-G 2.5T". According to the specifications announced this time, the naturally aspirated SKYACTIV-G 2.5 generates a maximum output of 187hp and a maximum torque of 25.7kgm. The turbo SKYACTIV-G 2.5T draws out a maximum output of 256hp and a maximum torque of 44.3kgm. Both engines are paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Turbo models have paddle shifters.
