This is an asset pack consisting of 21 assets, which can be used to provide traffic information to drivers and help build up ITS (Intelligent Traffic System) in your city.

What is a “CMS”?

CMS, which stands for “Changeable Message Sign” and also known as DMS (Dynamic Message Sign) or VMS (Variable Message Sign), is a sign with digital panel which provides updatable informations for drivers. CMSs can have various exteriors according to different conditions, from Changeable Speed Limit Sign (CSLS) to Lane Control Sign (LCS), Route Travel Time Sign (RTS) to Graphical Route Information Panel (GRIP). The CMSs in this pack are one of the most common CMS you can see on Taiwan’s Freeway.

There are 21 assets in this pack, 7 of which are empty CMSs at various display speeds and frames, and you can use them with Procedural Objects by Simon Ryr so as to customize your messages. The rest in the pack are premade signages for those just don’t have time to PO all messages, including 14 kinds of signage (e.g., road closure, accidents, constructions).

Technical Details

Mod/DLC Dependencies

Although it is not stricted, I recommend you subscribe to Custom Effect Loader by boformer in order to get blinking light effects on several CMSs. Don’t worry if you didn’t subscribe to the mod, for the light would just not appear.
For those not going to customize messages, you don’t need PO either. Otherwise you should subscribe to it for the purpose of doing so.
