53′ Dry Van w/ Open Rear Door (Prop Pack)
Introduced in the mid-1980s, 53′ dry van is now the most common truckload trailer in North America. It is quite simply a metal box on wheels with some doors on the back, though some offer additional access doors on the sides. Designed to carry palletized, boxed or loose freight, dry vans aren’t temperature-controlled (unlike refrigerated “reefer” units) and can’t carry oversized shipments (unlike flatbed trailers). These have room for 13 rows of pallets, plus an extra foot to make sure the doors could close easily.
This is a prop pack of 53′ dry van trailers with open roll up rear door. Along with the plain version, there are 3 versions with different company livery: Benjamin Moore, Keystone Freight Corp. and Meijer.
