The 1995 Ford Aerostar. The first minivan built by Ford Motor Co. Introduced in 1985 and sold exclusively with V6 engines, this little "garageable" van brought All Wheel Drive to vans in the Northern United States. It could seat 7, had fuel efficiency compareable to compact cars and could tow heavy loads. Roughly 12 years on the market until its discontinuation in 1997. It was replaced by the Ford Windstar, with the new invention of both side rear sliding doors.
