河北博物院，前身为河北省博物馆，成立于1953年，包括主院区（东大街4号）、建华院区、育才院区三部分，总建筑面积63043平方米。是河北省级综合性博物馆、全国爱国主义教育示范基地、国家一级博物馆。
主院区位于石家庄市文化广场，院舍建筑分为南北两区，北区建于1968年，原为“毛泽东思想胜利万岁展览馆”，建筑面积20028平方米；南区为新建区，建筑面积33100平方米，功能以文物展示为主。
河北博物院分为南、北两区，北区建于1968年，外观仿北京人民大会堂的廊柱式建筑，建筑风格体现了鲜明的时代特点。南区为新建区，新建筑周围环以高大的廊柱，与北区建筑的形制和主色调相呼应，外观新颖、内部实用、整体和谐、体现特色，是石家庄市标志性文化景观。
Hebei Museum, formerly known as Hebei Provincial Museum, was established in 1953. It consists of three parts: the main campus (No. 4 East Street), Jianhua Campus and Yucai Campus, with a total construction area of 63,043 square meters. It is a Hebei provincial comprehensive museum, a national patriotism education demonstration base, and a national first-level museum.
The main campus is located in Shijiazhuang City Cultural Square. The campus building is divided into north and south districts. The north district was built in 1968 and was originally the "Long Live the Victory of Mao Zedong Thought Exhibition Hall" with a construction area of 20,028 square meters; the south district is a newly built district with a construction area of 20,028 square meters. Covering an area of 33,100 square meters, its main function is to display cultural relics.
Hebei Museum is divided into two parts, the south and the north. The north part was built in 1968. Its appearance is similar to the column-style building of the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. The architectural style reflects the distinctive characteristics of the times. The southern area is a newly built area. The new buildings are surrounded by tall columns, echoing the shapes and main colors of the buildings in the northern area. The appearance is novel, the interior is practical, the overall harmony is harmonious, and the characteristics are reflected. It is the iconic cultural landscape of Shijiazhuang City.
