Amtrak P42DC Prop Pack
America’s Railroad
The General Electric Genesis series P42DC locomotive has been the backbone of Amtrak’s long-distance fleet for the last 20 years, with 207 locomotives being produced for the railroad. Although being phased out by the newer Siemens Charger series, the P42s remain a favourite among engineers to this day for their smooth ride and reliability on all routes and conditions throughout the US.
These props can be used along with the P42DC numbers of any locomotive found in your subscribed Amtrak P42DC routes to number the props. Alternatively, use the additive glass props from this pack in conjunction with Tree & Vehicle Props 2 to convert the locomotives from those packs to fully detailed props, as shown in the last screenshot above with the locomotives from the Maple Leaf and Silver Star routes.
