ED4M EMU
The ED4M EMU is a Russian AC suburban electric multiple unit, manufactured by the Demikhovsky Engineering Plant since 1999. This enhanced version of the ED4 is equipped with an advanced control system for smooth braking and overload protection, alongside high power and load capacity, making it well-suited for heavy passenger traffic on Moscow Railway lines and across other regions of Russia.
This early modification, produced from 1996 to 2012, is identifiable by doors similar to those on ED4 and ED2T trains and a front section featuring horizontal headlights.
