New, habitable worlds were sought out and new footholds established.
One such place is this strange, alien world — so familiar yet so different.
Giant mushroom forests inhabit the low-lying areas, while rounded trees with bright crimson, purple and teal foliage abound on the plateaus.
Other areas are seemingly toxic and inhospitable, with plant-life being sporadic, anemic and largely devoid of what we would call leaves.
Still, this "seaside", crater-pocked, fungus-infested landscape with the candy-colored trees is where we — ahem– YOU have been tasked with building a metropolis….
…for the future of humanity, and whatnot.
Pathways for ion-lev transport and hovercraft have been completed. A research post was built but….something went awry. Your task is to settle this new land and find out what happened to that first team….if you can.
