NN 2 lane 2 way with dedicated LRT
2 lane 2 way road with dedicated LRT tracks
Based on a similar road made by clus: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1608283276 , with some modifications namely:
– Added nice looking leafy oak trees with planters on the median
– Replaced parking in the middle lanes with dedicated lanes for cars and trucks
– replaced shared tram/car lanes on the sides with dedicated tram lanes,
– reduced the speed limit in car lanes and increased speed limit for trams
Advantages:
– trams run next to sidewalks so there is no need for platforms on the tram stops.
– tram and car rights of way are fully segregated and so trams don’t block the traffic.
– The road looks better than the original version because of added trees
– Modified speed limits encourage tram ridership over driving.
Slope, Bridge and elevated versions remain the same as in the base version by clus.
