JP_Office of Government-General of Taiwan (Empire of Japan) 大日本帝国台湾総督府
This model is based on the Taiwan Governor-General’s Office from the Japanese colonial period. Currently, this building has been renovated, but this model is based on the Governor-General’s Office that was completed in 1919 (Taisho 8). Therefore, there are many differences compared to the current building.

The Taiwan Governor-General’s Office was established as the Japanese administrative agency to govern Taiwan (Japanese colonial period: 1895-1945). It was built in 1919 as the headquarters of the highest governing body in Taiwan during this period. The building is designed in a Western architectural style, with red brick walls and white stone accents. The design was created by a disciple of the renowned Meiji-Taisho period architect, Kingo Tatsuno, who also designed Tokyo Station.
At that time, the "Guest House of Imperial Envoys" office, which had been used as the temporary Taiwan Governor-General’s Office, was destroyed in a fire in 1905. This led to the planning of a new government building. In 1906, Japan’s first large-scale design competition was held, but the first-place design was similar to that of the International Court of Justice in The Hague, and the technique was insufficient. Therefore, the second-place design by Uheiji Nagano was adopted.
However, even Nagano’s design had many practical issues, and ultimately, Matsunosuke Moriyama, who was working in the Taiwan Governor-General’s Office’s construction department, made adjustments to the internal structure based on Nagano’s plans and raised the central tower to its current height. After completion, this building became the tallest structure in Taiwan at that time.
The building incorporated the latest technology of the era, such as Taiwan’s first elevator, and became a representative structure during Japan’s rule over Taiwan.
The building is still used today as the highest governing body in Taiwan, the Presidential Office.
This is a very complex architectural model, with many triangles; be cautious when using a computer! ><

Postscript:
Since I love the architectural style of Kingo Tatsuno, I decided to challenge myself. I didn’t have much time, so it took about a month, around 80 hours, but I’m sorry it took a little longer. In any case, it was completed successfully (><)!
I hope everyone likes it! I think it could be used for a station or museum.
Also, since this building is currently the political center of Taiwan, some people might dislike it due to political reasons. However, the building itself is just a structure with rich history and interesting design. I hope you will focus on the beauty of the building itself, rather than discussing political issues, and appreciate it as an architectural work of value.
