After more than 3 years in the making, I finally release my first completed 9-tile city – Alder City, named after the eponymous trees, which grow everywhere around there. It’s a fictional city set somewhere in the Great Lakes region of North America. It has a special focus on the realisticity of railway angles – the trains on this map don’t make or scale the impossible turns and steep slopes. There are also low density suburbs all around the perimeter of the city, with the high density and office zones concentrated more to the middle, which makes it more real life-like too. It also includes an extensive public transport network of 38 bus and 8 subway lines.
Note: I forgot to connect some of the newest streets and toll booths to either the electric grid or water pipelines, also to polish borders of a few districts and create some new too for the new developments.
