Description:

Type of dynamic road signage panels installed on highways and main roads in France. They allow simultaneous display of text messages and a traffic signal icon, notably to regulate speed in certain sections.

The pack contains an empty version of this panel, as well as versions displaying no message showing the following signs (illuminated) :

• XAK5 (Road Works ahead)
• XB14 50 (Speed limit 50 km/h)
• XB14 70 (Speed limit 70 km/h)
• XB14 90 (Speed limit 90 km/h)
• XB14 110 (Speed limit 110 km/h)
• XB31 (End of restrictions)

The pack does not include the poles/structures upon which to mount these signs.. Many are available on the Workshop. I personally use the aluminum poles from this pack of railway signage.

The signs can be found in the props section. They may be searched using Find It with the keyword « PMV ». By default, they do not contain any displayed message. To add one, there are two methods :

• With the mod Procedural Objects (no illumination) : by converting the sign into a procedural object using the « Text customisation » tool with one of many fonts available on the Workshop.
• With the mod Write Every Where (the one I use – with illumination – see images above) :
  • Copy this font[drive.google.com] into the following folder :

  • Copy this preset into the following folder :

  • Once the game is open, select the segment where to place the sign with the Write Everywhere tool segment
  • Click on « Import items into list ». The sign with its preset are imported ! It is now possible to move its position.
  • To customize the text, click on the icon with a letter. Then select a line and click on the icon for data text (see images above). It is then possible to modify the text (maximum 15 characters per line!). Repeat the operation for other lines.
