Description:

Iwaki City, Fukushima, Japan.

This beautiful terrain of Iwaki and the surroundings should hopefully give you some interesting designs when you make your city here. Forested hills and mountains give the perfect place for you make plenty of nature reserves for hiking trails or leave as it is. It is also very fertile in the flat areas along the coast, perhaps invest in farming instead of tourism? If you use the 81 tile mod, you can possibly build in the mountains and make little villages/towns. I’ve put down very little infrastructure so you can decide where highways go. I have put down a train station at where Iwaki’s is. and some power/water work for it to work, all you need to do is to build a sewage plant and connect it.
Lots of rivers sweep across this area so plan carefully. Plenty of beaches as well if you really want tourism and nice long beaches, there are also some small coves here and there but hard to get to.

Has all road, rail, air and sea connections. 3/4 road and rail. 2/4 air and sea.

Start tile is at the port, south of the city.
I’ll make a copy of this map without the train station if you wish, and move the starting tile one over to where the city is.

Hopefully when I go to trip in Japan, this will be the first place I go. Seems like a nice place to go hiking!
