Train: LILO Twin Samba
When Cologne’s transit network abandoned the splitting into trams and interurban lines over the 60’s, the question emerged what to do with the interurban trains that were no longer needed. Most of them were not old at all, having been made in the mid to late 1950’s. While not for all a buyer could be found, most of "Samba" type cars went to the Linzer Lokalbahn, or LILO in Austria, who had use for some of the vehicles. In Cologne these cars may have been used on tram tracks as well as heavy rail lines, their new Austrian home is distinctly railway however.
This mod includes the twin unit Samba.
