Kit Homes – Aladdin – Style J
The Aladdin Plan: Save all cost which adds no value, by selling "Direct from the forest to the home". Headquartered in Bay City, MI, Aladdin Homes was another manufacturer of pre-cut, ready to assemble kit homes sold by catalog in the early 20th Century. This is the "Style J" found in the 1909 catalog. This house is typical of what you might have found across rural America, particularly in the south and mid-west. I’ve done this one a little differently than in the past, and the lot is undecorated so that you can add your own personalization.
Standard disclaimer applies. The model will not be a 100% match to the catalog image. I was unable to find a real world example of this home, so I only worked from the catalog image and plan. Slight revisions were made to the front porch area.
