1966 Cadillac Coupe DeVille
DeVille comes from the French meaning ‘of the town’ and was originally intended for cars of city use. Cadillac was at its best in the 60s and was really the luxury standard in America. All 1966 Cadillac Coupe Deville’s were full sized vehicles stretching at the wheels almost 130 inches with a full length of about 225 inches (5.7m). Starting price was around 5400 dollars, but with options it could easily climb to the high 6 grand mark. Almost all Cadillacs of this generation and even other models had a V8 and an automatic transmission, allowing to operator to drive with comfort and ease. In 1966 roughly 50,000 coupe Deville’s were made and sold.
