Kbely Water Tower
This humble white tower is Kbely Water Tower located in north-western side of Prague in Kbely. It is the symbol of Kbely and is on the Kbely coat of arms. Among the local inhabitants it is oftenly called a lighthouse because of its looks. And because it guides air traffic in neighbouring military airport.
The water tower was built in pre ww2 1927 by the Czechoslovak military and from the year 2004 it is considered as cultural heritage.
Personally I think this water tower would find use in any european or industrial themed city. Maybe even truly fullfil its dream and become a true lighthouse in a coastal post-colonial tropical town.
