Flatbush Ave (Prospect Park)
This road asset is modeled after the portion of Flatbush Avenue that runs between Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. It is not an exact copy, since it includes an extra parking lane, but other than that it is prototypical. The road has four driving lanes (two in each direction), two parking lanes, and a protected two-way bike lane. It is 32 meters wide, which fits into the vanilla width guidelines. My favorite feature of this asset is the way that the traffic lights are set up, with the "double-headed" lights around the bike lane, giving cyclists their own signal heads. While the BIG Traffic Lights assets don’t match the way traffic lights in New York City are hung, they are the best and most widely used American-style traffic lights on the workshop.
