Another narrow hotel 🙂

Hotel Rakuragu by Kooo Architects is a nine-story, 14-room boutique hotel built on a tiny ~83 m² site in Tokyo’s dense Nihonbashi area. Rather than hiding functionally, the design embraces constraints with balconies and openings carved toward the narrow urban gaps, flooding rooms with light and offering varied city views while giving the building its distinctive, rhythmic façade. Its braced rigid-frame structure reduces visible columns, maximizing openness. The result is a compact urban hotel that turns limitations into its defining, elegant character.

由Kooo建筑事务所设计的Hotel Rakuragu是一座九层、14间客房的精品酒店，建于东京日本桥地区仅约83平方米的狭小地块上。设计没有回避功能限制，而是通过面向狭窄城市缝隙开设阳台和开口，将光线引入客房，提供多样的城市景观，同时赋予建筑独特而有节奏的立面。其支撑刚架结构减少了可见支柱，从而最大化开放感并最终呈现出一座紧凑的城市酒店，将局限转化为优雅而独特的建筑个性。
