Realistic Flight Information
✈️ Realistic Flight Information
Turn your airport hubs into living, breathing international gateways! Realistic Flight Information completely overhauls how aircraft operate in Cities: Skylines, removing generic vehicle naming and connecting your city directly to the global aviation network.
Features
- 🛄 Asset mapping: Automatically detects the background data of custom Steam Workshop planes to assign airline names, IATA prefixes, and real-world destination cities and airports.
- 🌍 Global destinations: Displays a network of 60+ airlines and 100+ iconic cities across the globe.
- 📊 Live flight information panel: Press Ctrl + Shift + F in-game to pull up a display board designed to give you a real-time snapshot of all airplanes in your city.
- 🔢 Flight numbering: Implements realistic flight numbering for airplanes. Passenger flights are assigned 1 to 3-digit numbers (like DL 8, AA 56, or UA 852), while cargo haulers are assigned 4-digit numbers (like CG 2045).
- ⚙️ Fully customizable: Gives you total control over the global flight network with an airlines configuration file (airlines.json) located in your LocalAppData directory (C:Program Files (x86)Steamsteamappsworkshopcontent2557103743031283). Open it in a text editor to input additional airlines or custom destinations.
