EMD E7 & E8 CBQ American Royal Zephyr
The Burlington Route, formally known as the Chicago,Burlington, and Quincy Railroad, was a Class I railroad that operated in the Midwest of the United States. The company merged with Northern Pacific and Great Northern Railroad to form the Burlington Northern Railroad. This train is modeled after their EMD E8 AND EMD E7 series of locomotives. Unlike the earlier E5s used by the CBQ they only ordered cad units and didn’t buy any booster engines.
The American Royal Zephyr was a named passenger train on the Burlington Route from Chicago to Kansas City. The train was named after the American Royal in Kansas City one of the Midwest’s largest and oldest livestock exhibition, professional rodeo, and horse show. This train was the overnight counterpart to the Kansas City Zephyr.
Comes with automatic engine reverse feature: spawns the engine in front of the direction the train goes. comes with custom sound effects for movement and horn.
