KCPSC Steeple Cab 2 Dummy Freight
The Kansas City Public Service Company was a transportation service for the city of Kansas City that ran a variety of Streetcar, Bus, and Trolley Bus service in the 20th century. With this service they also ran some freight switching along some of the streetcar lines serving the coal plant in River Market as well as some industries on the south side of the city in Westport, Waldo and Dodson.
This locomotive is modeled after one of their electric GE steeple cab locomotives, locomotive #2. These ran service in the system until they were replaced by Diesel Electrics towards the end of the system’s life. This locomotive is preserved at the Middletown & Hummelstown railroad who was incredibly helpful in taking reference photos for me to use while modeling this locomotive.
Props included.
This is a dummy freight train so it is a passenger train that has a passenger limit of 0.
