Missile Disaster
Launch missiles at any spot — and defend against them. Five warhead types, adjustable yield,
air/ground burst, realistic blast falloff, fire, and persistent radioactive fallout.
Base game only — no DLC required. With the Natural Disasters DLC, the vanilla meteor
effect is used for explosions; otherwise a built-in fireball is used.
Features
- 5 warheads: Conventional, Cluster, White Phosphorus, Thermobaric, Nuclear
- Adjustable yield: nuclear presets (Little Boy … Tsar Bomba) or custom kt; conventional in kg TNT
- Air / ground burst: ground makes a crater and destroys roads/pipes/metro; air spares them but blasts wider
- Distance falloff: total destruction at ground zero, tapering outward
- Radioactive fallout from nuclear ground bursts — persists, expires after 50 in-game years
- Missile defense: PAC-3 / THAAD / Aegis interceptors with realistic kill probabilities, plus a Radar boost
- Explosions & sound: scaled meteor blast, nuclear mushroom cloud, 3D launch/impact/intercept SFX
Required companion assets
This mod detects buildings by name. Subscribe/create building assets whose names contain:
- PAC3 — terminal-tier interceptor
- THAAD — mid-tier interceptor
- Aegis — high-tier interceptor
- Radar — boosts intercept chance
- Decontamination (e.g. "Decontamination facility") — removes fallout (~5%/in-game month)

How to use
- Open the Missile Launch Control panel (top-left) or press F9
- Pick a warhead, set the yield, choose air or ground burst
- Click Start Targeting, then click the map
