Description:

EDIT: The Compact Stack has become sort of… obselete. Since the Stack Interchange got its facelift, it has actually become more compact than the "compact" one. So, uh… Rest in pepperoni, Compact Stack?

If you thought the original stack was clever, then… Well, you’re a clever person, because that’s perfectly true. I hope this interchange will be just as smart, because this was actually an accident. A failed full diamond, basically. But somehow, it seems to be working really well It’s fully directional, which seems to be the way to go in ths game concerning traffic, and all ramps are long and fairly smooth. The height of the interchange is actually lower than the original stack aswell, so it won’t appear as obstructive.

===================================================================

Advantages:
+ While smaller than its big brother, it’s still a stack, and keeps most of its capacity
+ No weaving (obviously)
+ Fully directional
+ Far easier to plop down than the standard stack
+ Compact, when compared to other interchanges in its league

Disadvantages:

– Still has fairly steep ramps; it simply won’t plop down in some orientations
– It’s difficult to retro-fit
– The wide median might make it hard to fit it inside the existing motorway system

In-game description:
Building dense and tight is the future, apparently. Well, I suppose nothing says futuristic like a "small" stack interchange!
