Modular Residential / Office Area
This is a simple, modular way to build a residential and/or office area.
Due to the road setup you won’t get any traffic issues within the district and there is no need for public transport – unless you need it to level up your offices.
If you want to add subway-stations place them next to the incoming road after those small pieces of 2-lane 1-way roads, in case your subway passengers have a car in their pockets, which causes a lot of "unsual" traffic.
I uploaded two more pieces that can be placed either left or right to the starter-piece.
How you deal with the outgoing traffic is up to you, just don’t connect it to the incoming road.
What i like to do is join the two lanes next to the incoming and merge them into an elevated 6-lane 1-way road that is either connected to a highway or, even more effective, to a 6-lane 1-way "go through" road.
There is a very easy way to cover the whole areas with services as well:
connect the incoming road 90° to a 6-way 2-way road and place all service buildings adjectant to it. small buildings cover at least one complete area and a big one (police headquater f.i.) up to four areas if you put them on both sides of the incoming road.
