Description:
Patch 1.1.1b includes native auto save!

This mod is therefore kind of obsolete 😉 Thanks all for the subscriptions and ratings!

———–

Automatically save your cities every couple of minutes (configurable, 5 minutes default)

The AutoSaver uses a single autosave slot per city (Make sure your city name is different from other cities). Be aware that you should not rely on this mod as you primary save slot. You should always save your city when you close the game.

———–

Changing the save interval

After loading a city, this mod will make a configuration file in the steam directory, by default you can find that here:

Windows – C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonCities_SkylinesAutoSaveConf.txt
Mac – /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Cities_Skylines/AutoSaveConf.txt
Linux – /home/<username>/.steam/steam/SteamApps/common/Cities_Skylines/AutoSaveConf.txt

You can modify this config to change the interval in minutes. (Default is every 5 minutes)
If AutoSaveConf.txt does not contain a valid number ( 1…maxInt ) AutoSave will be turned off.
The new config will apply after you reload a city.
