UK Roads Re-Texture

Please note before downloading – this is a Re-Texture of the roads in the excellent UK Roads mod and the original mod is required.

As most people I do not like the way the game creates crossings at junctions and the limitations of symetrical road markings. I have played around with the textures to remove all markings at junctions to enable each junction to be decorated with props. I have also removed the double yellow lines so yellow lines can be placed where you want by props.

The crossings are still there and will be used by cims but are not visble. If a crossing is created by the "Crossings" mod these will also not be visible, but can be decorated with the prop I have created (a simple one, with updates to come)

IMPORTANT – Please follow instructions below:

Subscribe and open the folder once the download has finished.

Delete the file UKRoads.dll (this is not needed but I had to include it so the textures could be uploaded as a mod). This file MUST be deleted or there will be a conflict as you will have two copies of the same file.

Copy the two folders (TAM and Vanilla) and place in the original UK Roads mod folder -make sure you overwrite the original files. The folders location is for example C:Steamsteamappsworkshopcontent255710548703719 (or wherever your workshop content is).
This will replace the default mod textures with textures without crossings and yellow lines

I also suggest you make a copy of the two folders outside Steam as if you re-subscribe or the mod is updated the replaced textures will be overwrittern.

Restart the game for the new textures to become active:
