South Lakes
A balanced map inspired by the south of the Lake District in England. Has plenty of natural resources. A large lake is surrounded by steep mountains. A river runs from the lake to the sea. A tributary joins from another lake. Highways are built throughout the map weaving between the mountains though around half the map is flat to allow for effcient city building. Overall a beautiful and interesting map allowing large and productive cities.
In real life, the South Lakes has only the M6 running through the east but for gameplay reasons I added plenty of highways. Also, this map is only inspired by the Lake District, it is far from a depiction of it.
