Königshafen
Königshafen is my attempt to somewhat emulate the old Hanseatic cities of northern Germany. The map is fictional and takes it inspiration from cities like Hamburg, Lübeck and Rostock.
The area is centered around several estuaries that create many islands, lakes and wetlands. Along the coast you find sandbars and dunes with shallow waters filled with wildlife.
The map itself lacks natural resources apart from agriculture and forestry, but with plenty of outside connections and four different harbour areas located deep within the city itself imports and exports aswell as transporting goods around the city has every tool in it’s arsenal to succeed.
