Features

All of these features can be enabled or disabled through the options menu, or you can choose not to use them. Nothing is forced on you 🙂

  • Spawn disasters with an intensity up to 25.5 instead of the normal 10.0! (Does not affect random disasters)
  • Disable specific disasters
  • Disable disasters over a certain intensity
  • Auto evacuate citizens
  • Disable normal building fires
  • Stop the camera from jumping to a disaster
  • Pause the game when a disaster begins
  • Change the probability for which disasters spawn – Experimental

Why is the max intensity 25.5 and not 1000!?

Due to game limitations. I’m looking into if I can increase the number, but I doubt it 🙁 a 25.5 meteor strike does leave a quite sizeable hole though 😀

Auto-evacuation explanation
  • Disabled you have to manually start evacuations (like normally)
  • Enabled – manual release Evacuations are started automatically when the disaster is detected (e.g. by a bouy or radar) or when the disaster starts (whichever comes first). You have to manually release the citizens when the disaster is over
  • Enabled – auto release Like above but when a disaster is over citizens are released automatically as well

The auto evacuation logic supports overlapping disasters

Setup: A Tsunami which is set to manual release and a Tornado which is set to auto release

  1. The tsunami is detected and citizens are told to evacuate.
  2. The tornado is detected, the city is already being evacuated so no further action is taken
  3. The tornado is over. The tsunami is still happening so the citizens are not released
  4. The tsunami is over. The citizens are not released.

Feature requests and bug reports are welcome 🙂
