DB 218 Regional Express
German class 218 diesel-hydraulic engine with four regional trailers (n-Wagen) in traffic red livery.
The trailers feature some discreet line coloring in form of a colored stripe above the windows in the middle section (replicating the obsolete 1st class indication stripe).
Added support for vehicle effects: If you subscribe to both, Vehicle Effects and Extra Vehicle Effects, you get:
- Turbo-diesel sound effect with delayed turbo rpm, simulating turbine inertia (video and video)
- Diesel Smoke
- Functional rear lights
- Rolling stock sounds for passenger and cargo trains (video)
- Braking sound, speed dependent
- Wheel flange grinding/squealing in curves (depending on radius and speed)
- Door closing sounds
