MetroPed Entrance Perpendicular V2 (MOM Compatible)
Use this pedestrian tunnel entrance, perpendicular to road, to create pedestrian underpasses for your busy crossroads or to create acces points for MetroPed stations. Or both, using different tunnels or using the bypass tunnels included in MetroPed stations.
This entrance was designed to work as a 4+ squares length alley with a tunnel entrance. It is working like this:
1. entrance to tunnels, MetroPed access etc. Cims will enter the side they are coming from
2. surface link between streets at 4+ squares distance (4 squares direct link, 4+ squares combined with a new ped path)
- size: 1×4 on ground
- 2 pedestrian tunnel connections at -8m
- place it on flat ground, otherwise the paths are doing weird things
- UI: Landscaping>Paths
- MOM compatible
- If you get "distance too short" when you build it, build it with game paused. Or use anarchy 🙂
- if you edit it, I reccomend not to delete the yard tiles props. Without them, the paths will do funny stuff and flatten the terrain at -8m where they connect to ped tunnel. Don’t bother to uncheck "flatten terrain", it’s the same 🙂 Or use "old asphalt tiles" 🙂
- you need anarchy if you are connecting ped tunnels at 90 degrees, because you will get "Space already occupied" because of entrance tunnel. The existing loose ends are less than 2 squares from joint with pink path, that’s why. I wanted to be shorter and not to get under road, to be able to place it close to a MetroPed station.
- subscribe to More Network Stuff and have it active
- open Asset Editor, load any asset and only after this start/load your game, otherwise the pink paths are not working
The above mentioned steps are mandatory for me, probably a weird combo of installed mods. It is possible to work for you without having to do this.
