Description:

Berlin’s Treptowers is a modern office complex on the Spree river commissioned by Allianz SE. The buildings were completed in 1998 and feature a 125m tower which is the second tallest skyscraper in Berlin (not counting the TV and radio towers). After starting this project, I was fortunate enough to be invited to tour the interior and courtyards of the Treptowers by a fellow Cities:Skylines enthusiast who has been following my progress on twitter. I leapt at the opportunity! I hope that my enthusiasm to faithfully recreate this iconic piece of architecture is reflected in the model details, textures, and lighting.

Scale: 1:1 (125m tall)
Plot: 20×30 (5 sub-buildings)
TRIS: 7,424
maps: 2048×3072 diffuse, specular, illumination
LOD tris: 389
LOD maps: 512×512 diffuse, specular, illumination
Game Stats: unlocked lvl 3 monument; $100,000 pricetag; $1,280/week upkeep; 130 visitor cap

IMPORTANT!! This model uses an experimental technique to deliver ~320 props and a consistent night lighting color across the entire sub-building complex. The ground floor is sunken beneath the ploppable level and must be excavated with the terrain tools to see the ramps, doors, and stairs. There are multiple road access points that must be connected so that cims can interact with the various entrances (see screenshot for required road access locations).

I maxed the prop limit on this asset but focused on roof details. This building provided a nice opportunity to "go green" and use the new roof grass props that were added to the base game in the Green Cities expansion. Exterior lighting and courtyard foliage should be added as you see fit. If you would like to have parts of this building as single objects, please make specific requests in the comments and I will consider additional releases. Special thx to Avanya & ryanjamesoflondon, whose fantastic props I’ve also used in this release.

All feedback is welcome and pls don’t forget to uprate if you like this creation!
