Veda Valley – the map of Vedastein
It is based on the valley of the river "Elbe" in Germany near cities like Dresden or Pirna. But please remember, Veda Valley is only based on the Elbe valley. The minor valleys that flow into the main valley are not 100% accurate. Also, the mountain "Königstein" is gone completely to make place for the city in the start tile.
The map is suitable for a mid-sized town of about 30,000 people.

In for a real challenge? Then this map could be for you. It has only one water source: the river Veda that flows through the center of the map. In general the made is made for detailers, not for vanilla gamers.
The usual big luxus liners or giant container ships would look weird on this map. That’s why I recommend you to use, just for example, SwissCH’s River Ship as passenger ship and Lee Towers’ River Container Ship Pack 1 in combination with the Advanced Vehicle Options Mod.
You see catenaries glitching trough bridges? I used the German catenaries from the Catenary Replacer. They don’t glich. Either also use them or increase the height of the bridges if that should annoy you.
Also: For those that didn’t look through all the pictures: the small highways have gaps within the 25 tiles. If you want to you may connect these gaps to ahve additional outside connections – but beware: you won’t like the traffic.
