Vault (The Yellow Peril)
After I finished up the cheese stick, my partner asked if I had plans to create the "Yellow Peril" as the color scheme of the cheese stick was based on that. Officially known (and certainly more PC) as the Vault, this sculpture was created in 1978 by Ron Robertson-Swann and placed originally in Melbourne’s City Square. It was evidently controversial and newspapers began calling it the Yellow Peril. I believe it is near the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art in Southbank, but I honestly cannot recall having seen it. For scale, it is about 4.5 meters high.
