Gramercy Central Dreyfuss Excursion Train
Finally confirming that the Cities: Skylines universe is better than ours.
Even though every example of this beautiful locomotive was cut into scrap in real life, they survive in Cities Skylines to pull charter trains full of train nerds. This consist represents a modern excursion train, featuring the Dreyfuss leading, and a standard Genesis locomotive providing head-end power to the cars behind (and as a backup in case the steam locomotive proves unreliable). The coaches behind are an eclectic mix of streamlined cars from the heyday of American rail travel (and two modern cars) – including a full dome car as well as a standard dome, and a boat-tail observation car. It is fully After Dark compatible, and painted in various schemes representing fictional versions of various east coast railroads. Enjoy!
Unlike my usual passenger trains, this one does NOT feature line colors and will always appear in the Gramercy Central livery with the same mix of cars. This train will overhang most stations for Cities:Skylines, but this was necessary to create a more realistic length of train.
Vehicle Effects is required! This train comes with smoke, whistles, and custom steam sounds, and without it, would look quite boring. Now features a custom set of sounds, including chuffs, bells, and an accurate whistle recording from a reproduction 6 chime whistle.
