Freightliner Food Truck Mediterranean
A recent immigrant from Turkey, Emin wanted to bring his family to the states so his daughters can have more opportunities. Unable to do much with his Turkish medical degree, he was faced with few options outside of retraining as a medical assistant or redoing the exams. After experiencing much difficulty with learning the English versions of medical terminology, he decided to get some loans from other community members to start a food truck business. The launch was relatively smooth and he was able to provide his family a sustainable income.
Today, seven years later, Oasis Grille is a thriving icon in New York City. However, Emin never lost his dream to continue practicing medicine. During these seven years, he perfected his pronunciation, retook the exams, and finally became certified to be a physician. As he looks to working as a doctor again, Emin decided to sell his business to Ninja, who brought it to Cities Skylines as a Mediterranean food truck.
